The "OhGreenWood" Adventure Begins

We are about to embark on our next big adventure. On Friday Chris, Michele and Lana are headed off to sunny Hawaii for fun, sun, and ... more fun! While we are gone, the guys have promised to keep the home fires burning and take care of each other. (Wow!) Don't feel sorry for them. We have the feeling that the boys' adventure may be even more "eventful" than the girls.
During this time of separation, we have agreed to keep each other up-to-date on what is happening by making entries on this blog. Of course we all know the golden rule of travel that says "what happens on the road, stays on the road" so there may be a few things that are left out. However, the guys have also made it clear that "what happens in Bettendorf while the gals are away, stays in Bettendorf) so there will, no doubt, be some editing on their part also. It also should be known that Chris has made it clear to Dave and Kevin that she will hold them each personally responsible for any loss of shrubbery in their yard while we are gone.
As we get ready to go, here are a few things that we girls are pondering:
Kevin: How many "home improvement" projects will he start (and not quite finish) while Lana is gone? Will those pictures be hanging (and where will they be hanging?); will the bathroom sink be dangling from the wall when she gets home? How many nights will Kevin actually sleep in his bed and not on the couch in the family room where he fell asleep watching Law and Order at 9:00?
Jeff: Will Jeff go out and buy more underwear just so he doesn't have to learn to use the washing machine? How long will it take Chris to find the kitchen countertops when she gets home? And, what about poor Husker? Will he survive?
Dave: We all know that Dave knows when it's time to go home, but who will pay the bill when Michele is not there to do it after he leaves? (Jeff and Kevin, you might want to carry a little extra cash along with you.) And what about poor Ashley? Well, Dave has neatly solved that little problem by shipping her off to grandmas for the duration of the trip. (Too bad Ash and Husker aren't friends. That could have solved Jeff's problem too!)
These next few days should prove to be entertaining! I know I'll be anxious to hear from the boys. Hopefully we'll be entertaining also!

It sounds like Kevin AND Dave are really great guys. Lana and Michele should really feel special. Jeff must be some kind of anal retentive homo with an fetish
for wearing dogs underwear

I totally disagree with the anonymous comments about Jeffro.
He has always been a warm caring individual who puts himself behind me at every turn.

Love Ramone

No wonder these women left their husbands at home. They sound like real dorks! Especially that Jeffro guy. Ramone sounds sensitive and I think he likes that Jeffro guy.
